CareerSteady
CareerSteady is a free workshop designed to help managers develop and retain those employees who work at an expert level. This program is also appropriate for aspiring experts; these are unskilled or semi-skilled workers who want to develop their skills to an expert-level.
CareerSteady is not motivational content. It contains foundational formulas that define “expert” in a completely unique way. By separating expert skills into two types, it provides new perspectives that see through long standing ambiguities within the workforce. By defining an individual work-process, it sheds light on advanced skills that need to expand beyond conventional ways of thinking. These skills accomplish work that is:
• Unstructured
• Complex
• Creativity-driven
• Strategy-dependent
• Project-oriented
CareerSteady can help managers create job descriptions that are more specific to types of skills. the work that needs to be done, find employees that better fit these job descriptions, and have better expectations on both ends, as to how the work can be completed.
